Montgomery County 4-H Teens Attend Congress

Teens who attended NC 4-H Congress this year included: Sean Maness, Sydney Reynolds, Victoria Miller, Nathan Miller, Kristine Parks, Ariel Thompson, James Parsons and John Strong. They participated in many leadership events, workshops, and community service projects. Victoria Miller and Kristine Parks participated in the Application, Resume, Interview process and Victoria was chosen to attend National 4-H Congress this year. Kristine was also chosen as an alternate. Congratulations girls! Nathan Miller participated in Presentations on the State Level in the Bugs & Bees category. He did a wonderful job representing Montgomery County. Great job Nathan! We would also like to thank Diane Williams (G.R.E.E.N Team 4-H Leader) for attending as a volunteer this year. If you are interested in attending NC 4-H Congress in the Summer of 2009 - start making plans to participate in all things possible to earn scholarship money.
